SERVICES

INDIVIDUAL & FAMILY COUNSELING

We provide individual and family counseling for teens and adults.  Specialization areas include self worth, depression, anxiety, grief, LGBTQ exploration, trauma, and women's issues. We offer family therapy for teens or individuals who would benefit from working on goals that would promote family, and not just individual, change.

PLAY THERAPY

Play therapy is a developmentally-matched and strengths-based approach to working with children. We use toys, expressive art, music, and therapeutic activities to promote healing and growth. Through play, children can learn to express emotions, enhance social skills, and build self-efficacy. We offer play therapy for children ages 3 to 9.

RATES

Dr. Hartwig's current fee is $150 for a 50-minute counseling session or 45-minute play therapy session. We bill for sessions using a HIPAA-compliant credit card processing software for therapists.

We are not in-network providers for any insurance company and do not bill insurance. If you would like to work with a provider who accepts and bills for insurance, you can look up "Behavioral Health Providers" on your health insurance company website.

Most clients see their therapist once a week at a regularly scheduled time. If you are interested in scheduling an appointment with me, please complete the appointment request form!

CLINICAL SUPERVISION

I provide supervision for practitioners working toward becoming a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Registered Play Therapist (RPT). My goal is to offer guidance and support that is designed to enhance a supervisee's clinical and professional knowledge, attitudes, and skills in order to develop and achieve competency in counselor identity and clinical care. I utilize sandtray, expressive arts, case consultation, and even canine-assisted support as part of the supervision process. Please contact me if you are interested in scheduling a meeting to discuss clinical supervision.
