I provide individual, couples, and family counseling. Specialization areas include self worth, depression, relationship concerns, divorce recovery, military family issues, grief, LGBTQ exploration, trauma, and women's issues.
Canine-assisted counseling is the integration of a therapy dog into a goal-directed counseling process. I am certified as an animal-assisted counseling practitioner. My professional therapy dog, Holly, and I work together to help clients work toward goals through animal-assisted counseling interventions. If you are interested in canine-assisted counseling, we can discuss this at our initial meeting.
Solution-focused play therapy is a developmentally matched and strengths-based approach to working with children and teens. I use toys, expressive art, music, and activities to promote healing and growth. Through play, children can learn to express emotions, enhance social skills, and build self-efficacy. I work with children ages 3 to 18.
My current fee is $125 for a 50-minute counseling or 45-minute play therapy session in my office. I bill for sessions using a HIPAA-compliant credit card processing software for therapists.
I'm not an in-network provider for any insurance company. If you would like to work with a provider who accepts and bills for insurance, you can look up "Behavioral Health Providers" on your health insurance company website.
Most clients see me once a week at a regularly scheduled time. I currently see clients on Wednesdays and Thursdays and have limited evening appointments. If you are interested in scheduling an appointment with me, please contact me by email.
